Original French Salamis

French salami has its origins in Italy and was originally brought from there to France as a long-lasting raw sausage. Today it is considered a delicacy and is particularly valued for its finer, slightly sweet taste, which distinguishes it from German salami. Our natural salami offers a pure pork taste and slowly melts in your mouth. We use 150 grams of the best pork for 100 grams of the finished product - this creates a genuine treat in which the entire sausage can be eaten with the skin on.

Our French salami is made using traditional methods and is based exclusively on pork. The sausages are stuffed by hand in edible natural pig casings and are first matured for 3-5 days before being air-dried for around 6 weeks at a temperature of 16-20 degrees.

Durability and storage

Our air-dried salamis can be stored outside the refrigerator for up to 2 months. For the best possible freshness, we recommend storing the salamis in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4 degrees. This keeps the French saucisson nice and juicy. With every order you will receive the appropriate amount of wrapping paper so that your salami can be stored optimally. Stored in the refrigerator and in paper, the salami will last up to 4 months.
